After-School Clubs

A range of clubs are available every term for P2 - 7. P1 can join in with clubs in Term 2 and 3.

A sign up note is sent out at the beginning of each term to choose clubs.  These clubs are mostly free except for externally taught options;  Football and Hip Hop.

P1 - 3 Clubs (finish at 2.45pm)

Good News   

Ann and Billy run our Good News club.  We spend time learning more about God, singing songs, playing games and doing craft while having fun with our friends! 

Football 

This is run by the Burns Soccer School where we learn movement skills that help with our football training.

Story Telling

Jennifer reads us stories, we have lots of fun retelling and acting as characters from the stories.

Fun Club

We have outside play and learning time with Jennifer, Miss Mitchell and our friends.

Dance/Hip Hop 

We learn all the hippest moves and perform a routine for our parents at the end of the term.

Film Club

Our resident movie buffs enjoy watching a wide variety of films with Miss Mitchell.  Ask them to recommend a good movie as they are learning to being film critics as they submit reviews every week.

Art

We work together to create beautiful pieces of artwork to brighten up our school.

 

P4 - 7 Clubs (finish at 3.45pm)

Coding

We have lots of fun learning new skills in ICT with Mr Gault.  We especially love using Scratch and making our own games.

Football

We learn all the essentials of gardening. We plant seeds and bulbs and grow our own produce. Miss Coone helps us to use these to put them in our favourite dishes to eat.

Chess Club

In Chess Club, Mr Howarth teaches us the rules of the game so we can play and compete with our friends.
