P3/4 Miss Byrne

Welcome to P34NB. Throughout the year we will be consistently working on reading, phonics and spelling in Literacy and number work such as addition and subtraction, multiplication and division. This year we will be learning these topics as follows:

Term 1a (September-Halloween)- All about us, Autumn/Halloween, Instructional writing (recipes etc), Shape and Space.
Term 1b (Halloween to Christmas)- The Arctic, Report writing (fact files etc), Data Handling.
Term 2a (January-February Midterm)- Fairy Tales, Narrative Writing (story writing), Measure.
Term 2b (February Midterm-Easter)- Circus , Letter Writing , Money.
Term 3a (Easter-May Bank Holiday)- Under The Sea, Persuasive Writing, Time.
Term 3b (May Bank Holiday- End of Year)- Summer, Poetry, Review of all Numeracy topics.
